Dean Walker-
Freelance writer of essays, news articles, short-stories, and poems. Environmental and human rights activist.
Using the screen name “HurricaneDean,” I have published over 100 essays and news articles on citizen journalist websites and blogs like www.GroundReport.com, Project Censored’s www.DailyCensored.org and am the publisher of www.ExpatsPost.com .
Mostly, I write about the things my mother told me nice people do not talk about in public: politics, religion, and sex. I have a few short-stories and three unpublished collections of poems, including “Hurricane,” a book of modern sonnets. I am a History major at Arizona State University with a 4.0 GPA.
For twenty-five years, I have worked in one way or another as an environmental and human rights activist. What does politics, religion, and sex have to do with environmental and human rights? Read my writings!
I am seeking a book publisher for my poetry and publications for my articles. Please feel free to contact me at Hurricanepoems@yahoo.com.
